I have wasted so much money over the time of raising our dogs and found that buying the big crate to start is the way to go because these guys grow so fast, and you end up needing a 42’ inch in the long run. When Destin was a puppy, I started out with the 24, then the 42. I wish I had known what I know now. What is great is that the 42’ crate comes with a divider, so you can make it grow with your puppy as they get bigger. I love Amazon for the convenience of delivery to your front door!! The double door version is nice because you have the option to turn to create a different angle too. LOVE it!!

Puppy Pen Enclosures to keep puppies safe. 6–8 panels & 24 inches tall are plenty big enough. Here's an example: **Safety precaution:** One thing to remember is that puppies can jump up, so if left unsupervised, please remove the collar if stakes to hold panels are exposed on top. I don’t want my puppy to get collared in an accident.

I also use the Neater Feeder in Aquamarine, which is nice because it helps collect the water from going all over the floor. Miss Boots is my messy water drinker and holds the water in her mouth, then has a nice trail along the way.

Now this is something you will have to buy several of while they grow, but I have found that when you bring a puppy home, a collar that fits up to 16 inches is perfect. Not too small or too big when first bringing a puppy home.

You only need a slicker brush and comb. Goldens have a double coat, so you never want to buy or use a brush called Furminator. Stay away from that type of brush, as it will destroy their coat. I have these two items below.
